Hindi Song | Jannat (2008)

annat is a Bhatt production and its story surrounds sports betting and match fixing in cricket. Emraan Hashmi plays the role of a bookie who gets into this profession to get rich fast. It is Kunal Deshmukh's first film as a director. Apparently Kunal and Emraan have been studying real life bookie's to prepare for the role. Other actors in major roles includes 2005 Miss World Sonal Chauhan, Samir Kocchar and Javed Shaikh. Initially they wanted Esha Deol and then Kangna Renaut to do the lead female role but they couldn't due to tight schedule.

Music of Jannat is composed by Pritam. To be honest I haven't had a chance to listen to songs yet, so I don't really know how it is. Considering Pritam made pretty good music for the last three times he worked with the Bhatts (Gangster, Woh Lamhe and Awarapan), I'm hoping that this time around he does a good job again.
